PELLA, WI – The Pella Eagles 4-H Club is kicking off the holiday season with a community-focused event centered on keeping local pets healthy. The club will host a rabies clinic this Saturday at the Pella Fire Hall and Community Center from 9 a.m. to noon, offering dog and cat owners a convenient way to ensure their animals are up to date on vaccinations.
Megan Suehring with UW-Extension and 4-H says the clinic is not only helpful for families but also supports youth programming within the organization. “If you have a dog or a cat and want to make sure they’re within their dates of having shots, please hop on over to the Pella Eagles Rabies Clinic,” Suehring said. She adds that rabies clinics are a long-standing 4-H tradition, with clubs across the area hosting similar events to promote responsible pet care.
The event is open to the public, and organizers encourage anyone with pets in need of vaccinations to attend.
