
Sharon A. Blum, age 85 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, December 17, 2025 at St. Joseph Residence, New London.
Sharon Ann Blum was born on August 6, 1940 in Black River Falls, WI, daughter to the late Burton & Violette (Nyssted) Smith. She attended Shawano Schools and later graduated with the class of 1958. Sharon was united in marriage to Allen D. Blum on January 14, 1961 at the First United Methodist Church, Clintonville. The couple moved to Clintonville where they started a family and resided the rest of their lives. They joined St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville where Sharon was active with the Ladies Aid for many years. In her younger years, she bowled on a couples league with Al; they also played cards with their couples friends for many years. Sharon was also a gifted Scrabble player and loved her crossword puzzles. She cherished time working in her large garden, which was well manicured and looked after with care. Music was a big part of her life; in her younger years, she sang in some ensembles and could always be counted on to sing and dance at weddings and other family gatherings. For a time, Sharon worked as a hair stylist at Vanity Fair, Clintonville. Time spent with family at the cottage on Lake Emma near Rhinelander, was something they all looked forward to. Sharon could often be found walking around town visiting with anyone she ran into. She will be remembered for her servant’s heart and the love she had for her family.
Sharon is survived by her children: Todd Blum, Wendy (Jeff) Krawcyk, and Jodi Leeman
Grandchildren: Sean, Justin, Allison, Jaden, and Riley
Great-Grandchildren: Shane, Brandy, Bailey, Briggs, Jude, and Viola
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen D. Blum; a sister, Joey Sanders; & brothers, Larry & Dennis Smith.
Memorial services will be held 11 AM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, South Location, 299 S. Main St. Clintonville; with the Rev. Hayden Lukas officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Martin Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of the service.
The Blum family would like to thank the staff of Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center and Monarch Meadows Memory Care at St. Joseph Residence, for the excellent care provided to Sharon over the last few months.
