Shawano Police handled a wide range of calls across the city Tuesday, December sixteenth, ranging from suspicious activity to medical and fire responses.
Just after one o’clock Tuesday morning, officers were called to an emergency shelter on East Richmond Street after reports of two men circling the building. Officers conducted extra patrols in the area, and the situation was resolved without further incident.
Later in the morning, police responded to a welfare check on the city’s east side, followed by a disorderly conduct call at a Green Bay Street business after customers reported concerning behavior inside the store.
Officers also assisted probation and parole with a pickup later that morning and responded to several service calls throughout the day, including vehicle lockouts, disabled vehicles, and minor property damage incidents.
In the afternoon and evening hours, police assisted ambulance crews with a medical emergency involving a child and later responded alongside fire crews to a call on East Richmond Street Tuesday night.
Clintonville Police responded to a steady number of calls across the city Tuesday, December sixteenth, ranging from patrol checks to emergency responses.
Early in the morning, officers investigated a suspicious situation on East Second Street and conducted extra patrols on 20th Street and Anne Street as a precaution. Later in the morning, police assisted another agency on Modoc Street.
Just before noon, officers responded to a reported sex offense on Shaw Street. Police say the incident remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time.
During the afternoon, officers assisted ambulance crews on South Park Street and followed up on complaints on North Twelfth Street, including a report of harassment.
In the evening hours, police increased patrols near a school on West Green Tree Road and conducted a business check on South Main Street. Multiple traffic stops were also reported throughout the city.
Late Tuesday night, officers responded to a welfare check and a warrant-related incident on West Madison Street, before assisting with a medical call on Flora Way just before midnight.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office handled more than thirty calls for service Tuesday, December sixteenth, keeping deputies busy across the county with traffic incidents, welfare checks, and public safety calls.
Deputies began the day with multiple welfare checks in Shawano, Bonduel, Pulaski, and Tigerton, including calls involving unresponsive individuals and concerns for residents who had not been heard from by family or coworkers. Several of those situations required follow-up investigations.
Traffic incidents were reported throughout the day, including multiple crashes on Highway 29 and surrounding county roads. Deputies also responded to vehicle-versus-deer accidents, disabled vehicles blocking traffic, and traffic hazards, including reports of reckless driving and debris in the roadway.
Law enforcement also assisted with warrant pickups, transports to and from the county jail, and responded to reports of fraud and civil disputes. Deputies assisted emergency medical crews several times, including one call involving a child and another involving an inmate medical emergency.
In the evening hours, deputies investigated reports of reckless driving, snowmobiles operating on roadways, and an animal complaint in the Town of Wescott.
Meanwhile, the Stockbridge-Munsee Police Department reported several traffic crashes, a utility problem involving a tree on a power line, and a welfare check in the Gresham area.
