SHAWANO, WI – City Clerk Lesley Nemetz says the Holly Jolly Trolley will run throughout the day Saturday, making stops at five locations around the downtown area so shoppers can easily move between stores.
She notes the ride is completely free and will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Also happening downtown is Shawano’s annual community tree-lighting event, which brings families together for an evening of holiday cheer.
Lindsay Johnson with Shawano Downtown BID says the celebration includes a full countdown before lighting the 26-foot tree in Franklin Park at 5 p.m. She encourages families to stop by early to enjoy hot chocolate, visit Santa, roast marshmallows, and take part in a variety of festive activities.
