Shawano officers responded to several medical emergencies beginning early Sunday morning. The first came just after 2:30 a.m., when a medical alarm activated for a 90-year-old woman at an apartment on East 5th Street. Rescue crews arrived within minutes, and the call was later canceled after confirming there was no medical emergency.
Around 4:12 a.m., officers assisted EMS at a home on South Lincoln Street after a caller reported feeling ill. Crews were on scene for nearly an hour as they evaluated the patient.
A third medical call came in around 8:21 a.m., when a resident at an apartment on South Main Street reported not feeling well, noting a past stroke. Officers and medics responded and remained on scene for nearly an hour.
Police also handled a 911 hang-up just before 10 a.m. on North Franklin Street. The caller reported the accidental dial was caused by a broken phone.
Later in the morning, officers were sent to South Park Street after a report of a dog left tied outside for several hours. Police located the residence and checked the situation.
Just before noon, a vehicle lockout was reported on East Green Bay Street, where officers assisted the driver of a maroon GMC Sierra.
A more serious call followed at 12:19 p.m., when callers reported yelling and crying coming from an upstairs apartment on Mountain Bay Trail. Multiple officers responded to the domestic disturbance and remained on scene for about 15 minutes.
A welfare check followed soon after on Friendship Road, where a woman had left home early in the morning, leaving behind a concerning note. Officers, including county resources, searched the area and followed up with family.
Shawano Police also investigated reckless driving on East Green Bay Street, a non-reportable traffic complaint, and an assist for Ashwaubenon Public Safety around mid-afternoon.
Later in the day, officers responded to a second domestic disturbance on South Lutz Street just after 3:30 p.m., spending well over an hour on scene.
Additional calls included helping a man who was weak after dialysis and needed assistance to his vehicle, responding to a 911 call on East Lieg Avenue, helping an elderly resident who activated a medical pendant, and investigating a nighttime disturbance near Airport Drive.
The day ended with a juvenile complaint on South Franklin Street shortly after 9:40 p.m..
Clintonville Police had a steady Sunday on November 23rd, responding to a mix of routine patrols and several calls for suspicious activity.
The day began just after midnight with a school extra patrol on West Green Tree Road. Officers then conducted a series of business checks across the city—on Autumn Street, North Main, Anne Street, and West Madison—keeping an eye on local properties during the early morning hours.
Around 3:50 a.m., police performed extra patrols at Picnic Point and Pickerel Point Playground. A stray animal report came in a little after 5:40 on West Green Tree Road, followed by a mental-health related call on Brix Street just after 6:20 a.m.
Traffic enforcement was steady throughout the day, with stops on South Main Street near Camelia Avenue, on West Madison, and at multiple Main Street intersections.
Officers also responded to several suspicious activity calls—one involving a vehicle at Picnic Point around 2 p.m., and others later on West 1st Street, Morning Glory Drive, and Stewart Street, where a suspicious person was reported just before 10:30 p.m.
The day wrapped just before midnight with one final traffic stop on South Main Street.
Shawano County deputies had a busy Sunday, responding to more than two dozen calls ranging from disorderly conduct to multiple reckless-driving complaints along Highway 29.
The day began just after midnight with a disorderly conduct call at Mickster’s Pub on County Trunk Y. Deputies cleared the scene without further incident.
Around 7:30 a.m., deputies conducted a welfare check in Krakow, after a caller reported concerns about a woman’s safety. She was located a short time later and officers determined there was no immediate danger.
A more serious welfare check came in just after noon near Shawano, when a family member reported a woman missing after she left a troubling note. Deputies launched an active search, and the case remained open as of the latest update.
One of the more concerning calls came late in the 8 p.m. hour, when a weapon complaint was reported near Birnamwood. A man told deputies that a family member allegedly pointed both a rifle and a handgun at him after an argument following a hunting trip. Deputies are continuing to investigate.
Deputies were also kept busy with multiple reckless-driving reports throughout the afternoon and evening—many of them along Highway 29—where callers described vehicles swerving, speeding, or crossing lanes.
There were also several deer-related crashes, including incidents near Bonduel and Pulaski. No major injuries were reported.
Other calls included trespassing, property-damage complaints, a disabled vehicle in Bonduel, and a report of a stolen pickup tracked into Shawano County by its owner through a mobile app. Deputies coordinated with Brown County, where the theft was originally reported.
