WAUKESHA, WI – The 2025 WIAA Division 2 Girls State Swim and Dive Championships at Waukesha South featured standout showings from several local programs, with Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Seymour, and Clintonville all placing scorers on the podium and in the finals.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood Leads Area with Top-10 Finish
Wittenberg-Birnamwood turned in the strongest team performance among area schools, finishing 6th overall with 125 points.
The Chargers opened their night with a big statement in the 200-yard medley relay, as the quartet of Brooklynn Beran (SO), Reese Dickman (SR), Kelsie Davis (JR) and Eleanor Tassler (SO) raced to third place in 1:50.05.
Individually, Davis and Dickman led the charge:

Davis claimed third in the 200-yard IM in 2:10.86 and added a 6th-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (59.66).

Dickman was a double medalist in the sprints and strokes, placing third in the 50-yard freestyle (24.17) and second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.24).
Wittenberg-Birnamwood also scored in the 200 freestyle relay, where Davis, Beran, Tassler and Dickman combined for a 5th-place finish in 1:41.02, and Beran added points with a 15th-place swim in the 100 backstroke (1:02.67) and 16th in the 200 IM.
Clintonville’s Lundt Closes Career as Double State Scorer
For Clintonville, senior Addy Lundt once again delivered on the state stage, accounting for all 18 team points and finishing her high school career as a double scorer.
Lundt’s best finish of the night came in her signature event, the 100-yard breaststroke, where she placed 4th in 1:06.94, just behind a deep front pack. She also reached the finals in the 100-yard butterfly, placing 14th in 1:01.74 to cap off a strong individual state meet and a decorated Clintonville career.
Seymour Scores in Diving, Sprints and Relays
Seymour finished 19th in the team standings with 30 points, powered by contributions across the board in diving, middle distance and sprint events.
In 1-meter diving, senior Audrina Bohn advanced through prelims and semis to finish 11th in the state with a finals score of 310.60. On the swimming side, senior Maya VandeKolk had a big night in the sprints, taking 7th in the 50-yard freestyle (24.71) and 12th in the 100 freestyle (55.89).
Distance specialist Kate Gawryleski (SR) added a 12th-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.26), and Seymour closed the night with points in the 200 freestyle relay, where Abbie Olson (FR), Al Dorn (SR), VandeKolk, and Gawryleski combined for 16th place in 1:46.23.
