TOWN OF GERMANIA, WI- A 74-year-old Clintonville man has been formally charged in connection with Wednesday’s fatal shooting in the Town of Germania.
The Shawano County District Attorney’s Office has filed multiple charges against Brent J. Hofman, born December 10, 1950. Hofman is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide, First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Going Armed While Intoxicated.
The charges stem from a November 12 incident on County Road M near Tigerton that left a 67-year-old Greenleaf man dead. Hofman was arrested at the scene and later booked into the Shawano County Jail following treatment for minor injuries.
Authorities say the case remains under investigation by the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office.
