SHAWANO, WI – Sacred Heart Catholic School hosted a moving Veterans Day Celebration on November 11, 2025, bringing together students, staff, families, and community members to honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The event served as a powerful reminder of faith, gratitude, and patriotism as the school community came together to pay tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to protecting the nation.

The program included patriotic songs performed by students, scripture readings focused on service and sacrifice, and a special prayer for peace and protection for all who serve. Veterans in attendance received blessed gifts and handmade cards from students as tokens of appreciation, followed by a special blessing led by Deacon James Lonick.

Sacred Heart Catholic School expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all Veterans and active-duty service members, recognizing their legacy of bravery and the inspiration they provide to future generations to live with faith, compassion, and civic responsibility.
