CLINTONVILLE, WI – Members of the Clintonville Board of Education will see a reduction in pay beginning with the 2025–26 school year, following a vote by district residents at the annual meeting on October 27.
Under the changes, board members will now receive $100 per meeting, down from $125, and must attend meetings in person to qualify for compensation. Pay for in-service meetings will also decrease from $75 to $50 per session, and members serving on committees will no longer receive $25 per meeting.
The positions of board president and clerk will continue to earn an additional $255 annually, but the treasurer’s stipend has been eliminated.
District officials say the adjustments are part of a broader effort to align board compensation and reduce costs, ensuring that more funding can be directed toward educational priorities and operations.
