WITTENBERG, WI – A Wittenberg-Birnamwood FFA member is gaining national recognition for her work in agriculture. Ava Nicole Medo was named one of eight winners of the 2025 National FFA Agricultural Proficiency Awards during the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.
Medo’s Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) centers on her family’s 750-head commercial dairy goat farm, where she plays a key role in herd health management and assists with birthing. The national proficiency awards honor FFA members who build specialized skills through hands-on agricultural projects that prepare them for future careers.
Medo’s accomplishment not only celebrates her dedication to animal care but also underscores the strength of local agricultural education programs in the Wittenberg-Birnamwood School District.
