SHAWANO, WI – Authorities in Shawano have confirmed that a man reported missing earlier this week has been found deceased. According to the Shawano Police Department, 34-year-old Nathaniel J. Robinson was reported missing on October 28, prompting an investigation that continued into the next day. During the search, officers focused on an area near Sturgeon Park along the Wolf River, using both a drone and an airboat to search the water. Around 3:30 p.m. on October 29, Robinson was located deceased in the river.
A joint death investigation is now underway between the Shawano Police Department and the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office, with the Sheriff’s Office taking the lead. Authorities ask anyone who recently had contact with Robinson and has not yet spoken to investigators to call 715-526-3111. Police say Robinson’s family has been notified, and no further information will be released at this time.
