The Bears started off their morning with a very hot Panthers team and ended up getting swept.

The Bears got a fight from the Kewaunee Storm but Bonduel pulled through in the end to pick up their 1st win of the day.

The Bears managed to take the 2nd set from the Blazers but the Blazers were too much to overcome in sets 1 and 3.

The Bears ended up getting swept in their final match of the day against the Bulldogs, but they didn’t go down without a fight, forcing extra points in the 2nd set.

The Bulldogs got matched with a very hot Freedom team to start off the morning and the Bulldogs could not get anything going offensively against the Irish.

@ De Pere Invite
West De Pere topped De Pere to claim the De Pere invite title on Saturday. Other area teams competing included Little Chute, Seymour and Pulaski.

The Redbirds once again cruised to a sweep over the Fighting Trojans in Match #2. Erin O’Connor led De Pere with 6 kills during the match.

The Redbirds had another test from the Cardinals in a battle of the birds but De Pere held off Chi-Hi in 3 sets. Adeline Dwyer had 8 kills for De Pere.

The Redbirds lost their final match of the day to their city counterpart, the West De Pere Phantoms. It was a close match in both sets. Mariah Jeskewitz had 8 kills for De Pere.
