TOWN OF ELLINGTON, WI – Alcohol and speed are believed to have contributed to a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Outagamie County.
The sheriff’s office says the crash happened around 6 p.m. on County Trunk S near Cummings Road in the town of Ellington. Investigators report a truck towing a boat lost control, crossed the center line, and struck another truck pulling a dual-axle trailer.
The 32-year-old Hortonville man driving the first truck was taken to the hospital, while the 21-year-old Hortonville man operating the second vehicle was not injured. County Trunk S was closed for about 90 minutes but has since reopened.
