OCONTO FALLS, WI – A doctor from Oconto County has been arrested following an investigation into child pornography.
Police say they received an online tip Tuesday about child sexual abuse material uploaded to Facebook from an Oconto Falls address. Investigators believed there was an imminent safety risk to a young child, prompting them to obtain a search warrant and take a 65-year-old man into custody.
Authorities have not released the suspect’s name, but jail records list a man whose name matches that of a local family medicine doctor. Recommended charges include first-degree sexual assault of a child, possession of child pornography, and sexual exploitation of a child.
