SHAWANO, WI- Shawano County Directors got the chance to take their meeting to the Shawano County Fair Bingo Hall on Thursday. Administrative Coordinator Jim Davel said it was a good opportunity to show support for a key part of the county.
“It is the county’s fairgrounds and I wanted them to see all the efforts that the Ag Society has put in,” Davel said.
He said he also is proud of the efforts of the kids in the community and the 4H.
The directors were treated to a lunch provided by the Shawano 4H stand.
“I think it is important that our directors see all of this because they are ambassadors of our community as well.
After lunch, the county directors teamed up to go on a scavenger hunt that was put together by the Shawano 4H.
Davel said he was surprised to learn that some of the directors had never been to the fair before.
