OSHKOSH – Shiocton picked up a convincing 72-48 victory over Menominee Nation at Oshkosh Arena, led by Kyle Bergsbaken’s 19 points. Cody Young added 17, and Connor Bergsbaken chipped in 15 to round out the Chiefs’ strong offensive effort.
Menominee Nation was led by Kenew Awonohopay, who scored 23 points in the loss. Despite strong individual performances, the Menominee Nation defense struggled to contain Shiocton’s offensive firepower.
The Chiefs built a commanding 35-24 lead by halftime and extended it in the second half, outscoring Menominee Nation 37-24.
Shiocton’s balanced scoring attack and solid defense propelled them to a dominant victory, while Menominee Nation’s efforts fell short despite a strong performance from Awonohopay.
Xavier Dominates Shawano with Explosive Second Half
APPLETON – Xavier stormed past Shawano with a dominant 96-63 victory, outscoring the Hawks by an impressive 28 points in the second half. The Hawks couldn’t keep up as the mighty Xavier squad showcased their offensive depth.
Logan Ramczyk led the balanced attack with an outstanding 22 points, while Grant Neumann and Luke Oelhafen both added strong performances with 16 points each. Kyler Bleck chipped in a solid 15 points, and Cole Hietpas rounded out the scoring with 12.
Shawano’s Logan Sipple kept his team in the game, scoring an admirable 23 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop the relentless Xavier offense. With a scorching second half, Xavier comfortably pulled away, leaving Shawano with no chance to mount a comeback.
