Girls Volleyball Regional Semifinals took place on Thursday.

The Hawks soared over the Jaguars in straight sets, winning 25-19, 25-20, and 25-18, to advance to Saturday’s regional final where they’ll face Appleton North. Sydney Neilitz led Xavier’s offense with 29 assists, while Madison Daley posted an impressive 12 kills. Grace Hackl anchored the defense with 13 digs, Ali Tylinski contributed nine kills and eight digs, Elle Downs added five kills, and Jena Bunks tallied five digs.

The top-seeded Oconto Falls Panthers surged past the ninth-seeded Lakeland in a four-set victory, winning 25-10, 25-19, 21-25, and 25-20 to secure a spot in Saturday’s regional final. Setting the pace for the Panthers was Izzy Otto, who recorded an impressive 44 assists, along with five kills and two aces. Lucy Ripley dominated at the net, leading with 32 kills and contributing two aces, while Rylie Shallow held down the back row with 21 digs and three aces. Rhiana VandeYacht also added power up front with five kills.

Annabell Markiewicz supported defensively with four digs, and Larissa Sailer added seven assists, six digs, two blocks, and two kills.
