SHAWANO, WI- For the third straight year, the Shawano Hawks will open post season play at home.
The Hawks earned the #2 seed in the Division 3 Regional, and will host the winner of #7 Mosinee and #10 Merrill on Thursday, October 24th.
Shawano is 11-5 on the season and will close out this week at Green Bay East to wrap up Conference round-robin play, and will wrap up the regular season at home against Marinette on Thursday.
Shawano lost to Pulaski 7-0 to start the season and then 4-0-1 before their next loss to Lakeland 2-0 at the Rhinelander Quad. The Hawks also lost to West De Pere twice and lost to New London.
Ruben De Gaspari and Warner Beyer lead the Hawks in scoring with more than 13 goals each. Grayson Swedberg has 10 goals on the season.
