TOWN OF WESCOTT, WI- The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is intensifying its investigation into the 2013 disappearance and death of Heather Szekeres, collaborating closely with the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office and the Shawano Police Department.
On Wednesday, law enforcement officials returned to the location where Szekeres was discovered in 2014, following the emergence of new leads. During this search, investigators recovered additional evidence related to the case. The investigation remains active, and officials have not disclosed any further information at this time.
