IOLA, WI- Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams competed in the Iola-Scandinavia Invite on Tuesday. Winneconne took first place in both runs, but area athletes finished in the top ten.
Mariah Wondra of Bonduel won the girls run with a time of 19:37.68. Rory Salveson of Wittenberg-Birnamwood was second, finishing about 40 seconds back.
On the boys side, the top area finisher was Ben Beck of Iola-Scandinavia with a time of 16:44.42 and a second place finish.
