CLINTONVILLE, WI- The city of Clintonville will use money from its General Fund Emergency Reserves to help finance the project to address safety issues with the grandstand canopy at Jirschele Field in W.A. Olen Park.
The Clintonville Common Council approved moving forward with the project during its meeting on May 14. The council accepted a bid of $66,075 from Benson and Houle of Rosendale to complete the repairs.
The city had initially budgeted $30,000 for the project in its Capital Improvement Plan. The additional funds needed beyond this amount will be covered by the General Fund Emergency Reserves.
