APPLETON, WI- In a court appearance on Wednesday, Jeffrey Proski entered a plea of not guilty to charges of attempted homicide and other offenses stemming from an incident in Seymour.
The court did not set a trial date for Proski, who is scheduled to appear again on July 19.
The charges against Proski stem from an incident on March 6 when officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of South Main Street. Upon arrival, they discovered an individual inside the residence with serious injuries and immediately requested medical assistance. The victim was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment.
Proski was taken into custody in connection with the incident.
Additionally, Proski faces accusations of assaulting a deputy by spitting at them.
