RIPON, WI-
Pulaski High School’s track and field team proved their mettle at the recent varsity meet, with standout performances across various events. The Girls finished fourth and the boys finished 5th.
Leading the charge was Madden Skenedore, a senior, who blazed through the 60m hurdles and clinched first place in the finals with a time of 8.66 seconds. Following closely behind Skenedore was the talented freshman, Keaton Dauk, whose exceptional performance in the 60m hurdles earned him a well-deserved third-place finish in the finals. Parker Marshall, a sophomore with a knack for long-distance running. Marshall secured a fourth-place finish in the finals.
On the Girls side, Olivia Sprangers was 2nd in the 60 meter dash and finished first in the 200. Ella Ficarri was 2nd in the hurdles. Hallie Morz was second in the Pole Vault
Hortonville boys finished 6th. Leading the charge was Ben Smith, a senior whose dominance in the shot put event was nothing short of remarkable. Smith unleashed a monstrous throw of 66 feet 4 inches, securing the gold medal and establishing himself as one of the top shot putters in the region.
In the pole vault event, senior Eathan Lund soared to new heights, clinching third with a clearance of 13 feet.
Hortonville girls finished third with Mallorie Werner placing 2nd in the 400 Meter run. Tori McGowan won the shot put and teammate Ayden Smith was second.
