SHAWANO, WI – Following the widely-covered incident involving the shooting of a dog named Atley, the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department has been diligently pursuing leads to bring resolution to this case. Despite exhaustive efforts, no further progress has been made in solving this crime.
The investigating deputy has dedicated extensive hours to the case, exhaustively following up on every lead available. However, despite reaching out to all relevant parties and scouring nearby properties for potential surveillance footage, they have not obtained sufficient information to make an arrest.
The only known detail about the suspect is their vehicle, described as a red Dodge pickup truck. Unfortunately, no further details such as the year or license plate number were available at the time of reporting, making it challenging to develop new information
