The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Northeast Region is organizing a live, online Public Involvement Meeting (PIM) exclusively focused on the proposed improvements to WIS 76 from WIS 15 in Greenville to the South Junction of County S in Ellington.
For comprehensive information on the project, a dedicated WIS 76 Design Project Website has been launched at https://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/projects/by-region/ne/76greenville/default.aspx. The site serves as the gateway for participants to access the meeting, which will feature live presentations by project engineers, including maps, displays, and exhibits.
The proposed project involves resurfacing-level improvements, such as culvert replacements, rumble strip installations, curb ramp replacements, and pavement marking. Construction, tentatively scheduled for 2028 but potentially starting in 2027, will bring about traffic impacts, including full closures for culvert replacement and lane closures during resurfacing operations with flagging operations.
