TOWN OF DAYTON, WI- A one-vehicle rollover crash occurred Sunday night on Crystal Lake Road near East Road in the town of Dayton in Waupaca County. The incident, reported at 11:17 p.m., involved a pickup truck that was traveling eastbound. Initial findings indicate that the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over, ultimately resulting in the ejection of the driver.
Deputies responded to the scene, initiating life-saving measures on the sole occupant of the vehicle. Despite their efforts, the driver succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash. The individual was rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The identity of the driver has not been released at this time, pending notification of family members. The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to piece together the events leading to the tragic incident.
