CLINTONVILLE, WI- H&S Manufacturing’s recent announcement of layoffs revealed that 42 jobs will be eliminated, as disclosed in a notice filed with the state. The closure of the Clintonville facility, as reported by FOX 11 last week, is attributed to the consolidation of operations to the Marshfield facility.
A formal layoff notice has now been submitted to the state Dept. of Workforce Development, confirming the elimination of 42 positions. Following the announcement, individual meetings were conducted with employees by Human Resource Manager Buffy Hasenohrl. These discussions covered various aspects of their future with H&S Manufacturing, including the possibility of employment termination in 60 days, extended stay requirements, relocation options, or potential retention bonuses.
H&S Manufacturing, known for producing a range of farm implements such as bale processors, mixers, hay tedders, and rakes, faces these operational changes as part of its consolidation strategy.
