The Shawano Hawks enter the game on a three game win streak. The Hawks have played all non-conference games this season, and open up conference play with a 6-1 record. Shawano recently earned wins over Pulaski, Merrill and Clintonville, with their only loss coming at Lakeland. Shawano is led by Sophomore Leah Nordin (21.6 ppg) and Junior Ella Stuber (9.6 ppg). The Hawks also are getting (8.4 ppg) by Senior Abby Bystol and Junior Trinity Popelka is scoring (6.4 ppg). Nordin is averaging 9.2 rebounds and game, and Stuber has 15 three pointers on the season. Shawano is off to one of their best starts since the 2018-2019 season when they opened up with a 6-2 record.
West De Pere 2023-2024 Season Recap
The Defending Bay Conference Champion Phantoms come into the contest ranked #7 in the Division 2 Coaches Polls. Their only loss was their last game when they fell to Appleton North 46-44. West De Pere opened the season with six straight wins, including wins against De Pere and Bay Port. The Phantoms are led by Madisyn Berggren (14.5 ppg), and Faith Walder (13.2 ppg). Walder has an offer to play Division 2 ball at Northern Michigan. Mia Racine is at (8.4 ppg) and Kendra Dorow at (8.0 ppg).
Shawano Last Games Recap
The Shawano Hawks topped Pulaski 61-37. The Hawks jumped out to an early lead before Pulaski started getting things closer in the second half with a scoring run, but the Hawks were in control. Leah Nordin led the Hawks with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Ella Stuber hit four three-pointers and had 12 points. Trinity Popelka had 9 rebounds to lead the team.
West De Pere Last Game Recap
The Phantoms suffered their only loss of the season with a 46-44 loss to Appleton North. Prior to that game, West De Pere topped De Pere 71-60. De Pere led 33-32 at the break, but the Phantoms got things rolling in the second half. Madisyn Berggen had 20 points and Faith Walder added 19.

Faith Walder of West De Pere and Leah Nordin of Shawano are both returning first-team unanimous All-Conference selections. West De Pere’s Madisyn Berggren is a returning second team selection and Abby Bystol of Shawano was Honorable Mention last year.
