Young Gillett Resident, Victim Of Fatal Highway Crash

GILLETT, WI- Connor Johnson, 22, from Gillett, has been identified as the victim in a fatal traffic crash on November 25. According to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson’s pickup truck overturned in the south ditch near Old U Road in the Town of Gillett around 3:15 a.m. while traveling east on Highway 22. Tragically, he was ejected and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A memorial service was conducted on December 2.
