OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI- Outagamie County has announced the suspension of its weekly outdoor audible warning siren tests during the winter months to reduce maintenance costs related to snow and ice.
The tests, which typically occur at noon on Saturdays, will be silent until spring. Residents are urged to rely on alternative weather sources for information during this time.
County officials plan to resume audible tests in March, contingent on weather conditions. Safety remains a top priority, and the community is encouraged to stay informed and prepared for emergencies throughout the winter season.
