GREEN BAY, WI- Patients of HSHS Hospitals and Prevea Health need to be aware of potential scams after a systemwide outage earlier this week. The outage impacted clinical and administrative applications.
The company reported patients receiving emails, texts or calls seeking payment. The companies said that payments are not being collected for outstanding bills at this time.
They say they are NOT currently emailing or calling patients to ask for payments or notifying patients that a new statement is available.
