NEW LONDON, WI- For the fourth time in the last 10 years, New London is heading back to State. The Clippers beat Antigo 4-3 in the Championship game of the New London Regional on Monday.
New London finished the regional tournament 3-1 with their only loss to Antigo earlier in the weekend.
The Clippers beat Seymour 12-0 and Waupaca 5-2 in their first two games of the tournament.
New London will play Medford in the opening round of the AA State Tournament on Friday in Ashwaubenon.
New London qualified for state in 1976, 1980, 1990, 1993, 2012, 2018 and 2019. In that time, they made the State Championship game three times, including a runner-up performance in 1976 and 2018 and a Championship in 2019.
