WAUPACA, WI- A Manawa woman is facing charges related to drugs as well as battery to an officer after an incident at a Waupaca bar on July 2.
34-year-old Amanda Ricketts is facing two counts of Battery to an Officer, felony spitting on an officer, obstruction and possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Police were called out to a bar in Waupaca after a woman, identified as Ricketts, allegedly took a mans wallet, starting a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to the complaint, Ricketts became angry with the officers, tried to leave the bar and resisted being handcuffed. It was reported that she allegedly bit an officer on the shoulder and kicked another officer as well as spit in his face.
Ricketts is facing up to six years in prison if convicted.
