BIRNAMWOOD, WI- A fugitive was arrested near Birnamwood after evading arrest this week. Shawano County Sheriff officials say they took 44-year-old Shawn Clark into custody on Monday after he was hiding out in Marathon County near Birnamwood.
Officials say the hideout was near County D and County OO in the Town on Norrie.
Clark had a felony warrant for his arrest for a sex offender registration violation. He will be facing additional charges in Marathon County. Those charges include possession of a firearm, resisting, drug possession and possession of a knife.
Sheriff officials in Marathon County say the community played a big role in locating Clark.
