OCONTO, WI- Oconto County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two vehicle accident on June 30, 2023. Crews were called out to Highway 41 and County W in the Town of Little River. Crews arrived on scene just after 7:11 p.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed an SUV operated by a 23 year old male from Bolo, IL was traveling north on USH 41. A motorcycle, operated by a 21 year old male with a 19 year old female passenger both of Oconto, were also traveling north on USH 41. She has been identified as Aubrey Williams. The vehicles made contact while the motorcycle was changing lanes south of CTH W.
Williams was ejected. Life saving measures were performed on scene. Unfortunately, she later died at the hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Little River Fire Department, Oconto Fire and Rescue Service, Peshtigo Police Department, Oconto Police Department, Oconto Falls Police Department, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Brown
