SHAWANO, WI- The Wisconsin Public Services Commission will be asked to approve a water rate increase for the City of Shawano residents.
The request is for an increase of 28 percent when it comes to water rates in the city. This would be the first increase in the City of Shawano since 2015.
The Shawano Common Council gave the approval to send the request forward during their last meeting.
