APPLETON, WI- Strong pitching and strong hitting led New London to a 13-0 win over Xavier. Eve Hedtke had a home run. Sommer Krull, Kenna Mix and Mackenzie Bruette all drove in three runs. Kenna Mix pitched four inning and earned the win. She allowed just two hits and struck out four.
LUXEMBURG-CASCO 14, WAUPACA 2
Luxemburg-Casco scored seven runs in the first inning and rolled to a victory. Josie Dorner had a home run in the inning to lead the way. Waupaca scored in the second inning and the fourth inning. The Spartans scored three runs in the sixth to put the game away. Savannah Jandrin picked up the win for Luxemburg-Casco, while Josie Peterson took the loss for Waupaca.
FREEDOM 10, DENMARK 6
Rylie Murphy had three hits to lead Freedom. Peyton VandeLoo earned the win, allowing six runs on eight hits, but came away with 9 strikeouts. Olivia Ullman had three hits to lead Denmark.
MENASHA 18, GREEN BAY EAST/WEST 0
Menasha scored six times in the first inning and never looked back. They added 11 runs in the third inning to put it away. Teagan Massey-Planmann had a three-inning no-hitter in her first varsity start.
