Baseball is slowly getting underway with games in Northeast Wisconsin. Many teams had to do some traveling to get games in to kick off the season.

WEYAUWEGA, WI- Wyatt Blaskowski pitched a perfect game for Amherst’s first win in an 8-0 win over Weyauwega-Fremont. Blaskowski had 13 strikeouts. Matt Glodowski had a double and a triple to lead the Falcons. TJ Brandl drove in three runs.
Mosinee 16, Stratford 0
Keagen Jirschele struck out six and earned the win for Mosinee. Gavin Obremski was 3 for 3 and had a double and a triple.

Hortonville 10, Pikeville Kentucky 4
Evan Mahan drove in five runs for Hortonville with a double and a home run. Nathan Vela also had a home run. The Polar Bears came back from a 3-0 deficit in the first inning. Ethan Peters earned the win.
West De Pere 12, Jennings County Indiana 7
The Phantoms took an early 3-1 lead and rolled to victory. Jason Lehman had the big bat with a double and a triple. Bennett Marsden earned the win for West De Pere.

Wheaton Academy Illinois 11, Hortonville 8
Saturday April 1
Denmark 5, Amherst 0
Amherst was held to a pair of hits in the loss. Marcus Kennedy had a double to lead the way. Aidan Jastromski took the loss.
Hudson 13, Amherst 4
Amherst completed their play at the Woodside Sports Complex in Mauston with a loss to Hudson. The Falcons scattered four hits. Elijah Bohm took the loss in relief.
