SHAWANO, WI- Shawano Senior Michael Metcalf-Grassman will continue his basketball career at UW-Oshkosh. The Hawks leading scorer gave a verbal commitment to Titans coach Matt Lewis on Monday.
Metcalf-Grassman is averaging 21.1 points this season and has scored 338 points for the Hawks this season. He is shooting 56 percent from the field and 32 percent from three point range. As a Junior, he averaged 19.7 points a game and earned second-team all-Bay Conference. He has played three varsity seasons for Shawano and is on the verge of becoming the 8th player in school history to eclipse 1000 career points.
“I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at UW-Oshkosh,” Metcalf-Grassman tweeted. “Thank you to my family, friends and coaches who helped me along the way.”
Metcalf-Grassman is a three sport athlete at Shawano as he has lettered in Football and Baseball along with Basketball.
