SHAWANO, WI- A Shawano County man who was accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend was convicted on Monday of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
Allen Ortiz-Corporan pleaded no contest to the charges of burglary and threatening an officer.
According to the complaint, officers arrived at the woman’s home on January 18, 2021. Police reported finding Ortiz-Corporan in the house and found a woman who was stabbed in the stomach and back.
Seven counts were dismissed. Ortiz-Corporan will have sentencing on April 18th.
