OCONTO, WI- An Oconto County man who is accused of producing child pornography entered a not-guilty plea in federal court on Wednesday.
32-year-old Rocky Sonkowsky has a trial scheduled for February 22. If convicted, he can be sentenced to between 15 to 30 years in prison. He is also facing charges in Oconto County for first-degree sexual assault of a child as well as child exploitation.
Sonkowsky allegedly took nude photos of a toddler while babysitting. According to the complaint, Sonkowsky was remorseful for his actions and said he would welcome professional assistance to help him better manage his sexual thoughts and desires directed towards children.
