PULASKI, WI- The Pulaski Red Raiders Boys Soccer team is off to State for the second time ever after coming away with a 1-0 win over Tomah at home in Saturday’s Sectional Finals.
The Red Raiders have been knocking on State’s door for quite some time, after winning Regionals in 2017, 2018, 2019, and last year, where they fell one game short of State.
Like this year, the Red Raiders got to host the 2021 Sectional Final, but they fell to River Falls 2-1.
Pulaski has used that as fuel to get back and take the next step.
Ryan Drafz scored the only goal of the game and the Red Raiders earned their second shutout of the postseason.
Next for Pulaski is top-seeded Whitefish Bay. They are 14-1-4 and ranked second. They finished second at State last year.
The State Semifinal game is Thursday at 11:00 A.M.
