
Darhl M. Much, age 80, of Mesa, AZ and Little Falls, WI passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, in Gilbert, AZ, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Darhl Mae Goltz was born on July 13,1942 in Pella, Wisconsin, to Herbert and Mertice (Hangartner) Goltz. She graduated in 1960 from Marion High School and attended nursing school in Milwaukee and became a Registered Nurse. Darhl worked in several hospitals and later went into occupational nursing for Motorola Corporation where she worked for 22 years.
On July 9, 1966, Darhl was united in marriage to Jimmy L. Much at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Caroline, Wisconsin. Immediately following their marriage, the couple moved to Arizona and began their life together and later raised their two children, Michelle and Scott in Mesa, Arizona. In 1998, both Darhl and Jimmy retired and began spending their summers in Little Falls, Wisconsin and winters in Mesa, Arizona. After Jimmy passed away in 2006, Darhl continued to travel to both states and always cherished her time in Wisconsin where she grew up.
Darhl was a devoted mother and grandmother and was such a kind and giving human being. She had a huge heart and always put others before herself. She had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior which provided her with additional strength and comfort and hope for the future in her eternal resting place.
Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Much and her grandson, Kayden Seets-Much of Prescott Valley, AZ. She is further survived by a brother, Dennis (Irene) Goltz; a brother-in-law, Carl (Ardie) Much; and many other relatives and friends.
Darhl was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Much; son Scott Much; parents Herbert and Mertice Goltz; parents-in-law Carl and Verna Much; and a sister Sharel (Duane) Schoen.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 11th at 2:00 PM at Roseland Cemetery, Town of Dupont. Pastor Karen Riemer from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will officiate. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Marion, is assisting the family.
