SHEBOYGAN, WI- Wisconsin’s first human case of West Nile virus has been reported in Sheboygan County. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says this serves as a reminder of the continued importance of taking precautions to prevent mosquito bites as we move into the fall. West Nile virus and other mosquito-borne illnesses pose a risk to everybody, but people who have weakened immune systems are at the greatest risk of developing serious illnesses.
