MANAWA, WI- Drug waste was safely removed from a Manawa apartment complex. Police were called to the 400 block of Center Street around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. An apartment manager told police that a cleaning person found drug equipment in garbage can in a common bathroom. The air quality of the complex was checked by the Manawa Fire Department to ensure residents safety. The area was vented and the scene was deemed safe.
