“Justice On Wheels” Brings Wisconsin Supreme Court To Waupaca Next Month

WAUPACA, WI- “Justice on Wheels” is bringing the Wisconsin Supreme Court to Waupaca next month.  The justice will hear two cases at the Waupaca County Courthouse October 10^th.  In one case the court is to determine if a prosecutor violated a plea agreement when inadvertently recommending a specific prison term, although the mistake was corrected after the defense objected.  In the second case, the court will consider whether Dunn County officials were liable for failing to prevent a sexual assault by a jailer when allegations had already been made.  Advance registration is encouraged by September 28^th.
