MADISON, WI- The Badgers are one of seven teams that fell in this week’s A-P College Football Poll despite winning their openers. Wisconsin was never threatened Saturday while shutting out Illinois State 38-0. Despite that, coach Paul Chryst’s team fell from 18th to 19th in the poll released Tuesday. Ohio State was dropped from second to third despite a 21-10 victory over Notre Dame. The biggest drop took Oregon right out of the top 25 after a 49-3 drubbing by Georgia. That blowout allowed the Bulldogs to move past Ohio State into second place. The Big Ten has three teams ranked this week – number-three Ohio State, number-four Michigan, number-14 Michigan State, and number-19 Wisconsin.
