OCONTO, WI- A driver has been sentenced to nine years in prison for a fatal drunken driving crash. The crash in November 2019 which killed Melissa Cota happened west of Oconto. Thirty-three-year-old Travis Ragen was sentenced Friday in Oconto Court Court. Ragen had pleaded no contest to a charge of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. Investigators say Ragen’s blood alcohol content was more than two-and-a-half times the legal limit when it was measured after the crash.
