GREEN BAY, WI – A Keshena man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison and will be under supervision for the rest of his life. The U-S Attorney’s Office says 46-year-old Darwin Pamanet recorded himself abusing an eight-year-old girl. Investigators say they found two more girls who were victimized by Pamanet, with all of the abuse happening on the Menominee Indian Reservation. The federal judge rejected a request by defense attorneys for a lesser sentence. Federal Judge William Griesbach called the abuse a “terrible offense.”
