Brewers Look To Bounce Back

MILWAUKEE, WI-  It was a chance to expand their National League Central Division lead while playing a pair of sub-500 teams like the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates.  It didn’t happen.  After dropping four of six games to the division rivals, the Brewers took Monday off, then start a short two-game road series at Minnesota Tuesday.  Rookie Jason Alexander starts the 7:40 p-m game at Target Field.  Even though the second-place Cardinals have had some struggles of their own recently, they are only two games behind Milwaukee as the All-Star break approaches.
